How to identify dish end one or two in a horizontal/vertical pressure vessel

12/09/2009 12:05 PM

I need some clarifications on how to identify dish end one or two in a horizontal or vertical pressure vessel. For a horizontal vessel, do I consider the dish to my left as one and to my right as two? Assuming this is true, what about a vertical vessel?

Emma.

Emma, are you trying to calculate volume of vessels?

Dished or domed ends... innies, or outies? Just curious.
