This occurs when the maximum generic mileage 200,000 is surpassed and when the dash console experiences a terminal error; read as time to R&R the unit, send to repair or replace.

If you are competent and love tinkering, have all necessary electronic diagnostic equipment you may enjoy the repair...

you can check with autozone for a code reader and the code reader should reset it or a mechanic with a code reader

Usually this problem occurs due to the wiring fault in the cluster, But mostly the cluster assembly will have to go out for repair.

Find a shop that has the Chrysler DRB3 scan tool. They have the capabilities of fixing this problem. There are many things that will cause this ERROR display and without the correct testing being performed, you will be wasting both time and money tossing parts at this problem.

Most professional independent shops have this capabilities.
