Yokogawa CS3000 MLD block

hi we are facing problem with DCS MLD block we found many time we are not getting output from DCS to the positioner of the control valve later it was found that MLD block goes to manual mode ,again by putting back to auto mode we get the right output to the positioner , can anybody help out to know the cause of MLD block switching to manual mode

The Manual Loader Block (MLD) is just that, allowing a manual value to be pluged into the positioner. so I believe it is a symtem of the problem, not the cause. So you best bet will be to contact the CS3000 OEM (Original equipment Manufacturere) so they look at how the DCS program is written and what instances call for using the MLD block.

hi there ,

do u mean to say that the whole system fault or to a particular FCS of Particular domain because so far ,we face problem on various control valves of that particular Area.

You need to seek out who ever wrote the program. That is what I mean. The program might need modified.
