Pitting inside of inner race bearings?

we r using 23222smb fag india made bearing we find pitting inside of the inner race of bearing please give us technical support in this matter

which type of grease should we

use?

I'd ask for technical support from the bearing supplier. Without any knowledge of the environment, it's hard to advise.

Pitting means different things to different people. A picture would help.

Was it actual pitting or was it spalling?

Was it an electric machine? Could this be due to electric currents flowing through the bearing?

Were the balls in good shape?

Was the outer race worn?

How long was it in service?

What kind of machine?

What was the vibration level?

Was the bearing a the end of a shaft with a belt drive? Was the belt properly tensioned?
