If you are asking how to check the equipment already installed, we need to know what you have? If you are asking what can you use to check the level of a vessel than study the following:

1. Install a pressure transmitter at the bottom of the vessel. Measure the pressure of the liquid at the maximum mark (or calculate), measure the pressure of the liquid at the minimum mark (or calculate). Scale the pressure sensor input for the distance of minimum level to maximum level.

2. Install 3 floats, one minimum level, one mid level, one maximum level. Connect the floats to your controller or alarm relays.

3. Install an analog float indicator transmitter. Most have a 4 - 20mA or 0 - 10vdc output. This is a direct connection to a PLC or DDC system and will indicate the vessel level.

Please send additional information for a more thorough evaluation.
