In Russian Standard max deviation of center of column compared with project point is 10mm, h/30 or L/600. In EC2 - 20mm, h/30 or L/400. In my practice max deviation is apropriate 50mm.

Hello Expthailand

What you are talking about is termed as "Eccentric" Loaded foundations. There is no specific standards as to how much you can or may "deviate" from the center of a foundation.

You have to calculate the Eccentricity of the loads and the Moments induced due to such eccentricity; thereby your concrete design [L x B x D] may be adjusted for the flexture. In some cases you may need to build a tie-beam from one foundation to another foundation to counter any greater overturning Moment.

Conclusively; the answer is; there is no such thumb-rule or a standard or a code of practice recommending you the "Deviations". It has to be calculated on speicific cases. Mostly, such cases are when you have a column sitting exactly on a property line edges.
