Refer ASME Sec IX Article IV (QW400- Welding data)

P-Numbers (ASME base materials)

S-Numbers (other materials)

F-Numbers (grouping of filler metals)

A-Numbers (weld metal chemical analysis).

Also it may be added that

P Numbers are for materials adopted for use by ASME for code construction.
S numbers for materials that are acceptable as per B31 Code for Pressure Piping (or by selected code cases. However these are not included in ASME BPV section II (Material Specification)
