Cleaning equipment for Petrochemical complexes and refineries

Looking for inputs from those who used dry ice blasting for cleaning various eqipment inside " Class I , Division 2, group C&D" locations such as petro-chemical plant , refinery etc .

What kind of authorization / certification is needed to take the equipment inside the petrochemical plant / refinery.

Who is the competent authority to issue such a certificate?

Is the declaration of the manufacturer of equipment acceptable for taking the equipment inside such plants ?

You should be able to get started at www.api.org the American Petroleum Institute. They deal with all things petroleum and natural gas. It is basically the standards organization you will need to deal with most. If you need more info simply Google Gas & Petroleum. You'll get more info than you need.
