Rogowski Coils

01/11/2010 9:49 AM

I am looking for inexpensive Rogowski coils for measuring 0-20A. I want a complete unit with 0-5v output to feed to an A/D. Also If you know of just a plain inexpensive coil that could be used as a starting block for me to build-up myself.

thanks

I don't know what a Rogowski coil is but I know a hall effect current transducer can be set up to provide 0 - 5 volts output over its intended range.

We are very pleased with the performance of the units we procure from http://homepage.ntlworld.com/rocoil/. Just remember that a Rogowski coil is not useful for DC.
