numerical question-electrical engineering

01/12/2010 6:11 PM

i am a faculty of diploma engg classes and urgently require solution to the following questions.

1)front 20mx50m of a concrete building in an industrial town is to be illuminated by projectors fixed on ground 50m away from the building.estimate the number and size of the same

2)a 220v,500rpm dc shunt motor with an armature resistance of 0.08 ohm and full load current of 150 amps is to be braked by plugging.estimate the value of resistance, which is to be applied in series with the armature to limit the initial braking current to 200 amps.what would be the speed at which the electric braking torque is 75% of its initial value?

Unfortunately even if these were just theoretical questions, they cannot be answered without more information (unless a number of assumptions are made).

1)front 20mx50m of a concrete building in an industrial town is to be illuminated by projectors fixed on ground 50m away from the building.estimate the number and size of the same

What level of lux is required as it depends on application and what lighting standard you are designing to?

What type of lights and fixtures, there is a great deal to choose from?

etc

In the end this is STILL homework based on something you should have the necessary background to answer.
