What is the Best Video Software for Industrial Use?

01/23/2007 2:57 AM

I have to analys DVD, MPGE ... video files,

and like to buy a software (for a normal PC) which can easy freeze go forward, backward, slow move and make high resolution screen shots (-> export to JPEG).

No need to cut and make sound music and other stuff.

Who knows what´s working good?

http://www.pinnaclesys.com

They make a package and even new programs for HDTV.

I use it and feel it works very well for the money.

If you are going to look at Pinnacle, try Adobe Premiere also. Cost is low and performance is good.

I agree that both Pinnacle and Adobe are very good products. For your use, however, Adobe may offer far more than you need or want. U Lead Systems also makes good products at a lower price, and for your purposes, might work quite well -- possibly better if you are looking for something simple. Several (probably all) can be downloaded in trial versions. Any can make screen shots up to DVD resolution.

Did you mean DVD Labeler? This program is an integrated DVD scanning and image-capturing program. With the tool you can save DVD images as digital pictures for future editing and sharing.

For further information, look here: http://www.qweas.com/download/video_dvd/dvd_rippers/dvd_labeler.htm

It offers detailed description of this program, and lots of faqs about its usage. Hope this helps.

Regards.

Sony "Vegas" has a button above the "monitor" to save a picture of a given freeze-moment, in a video sequence.

Of course, it can do all the other functions a video editor should.
