Discovery will head back to the launch pad

NASA is planning to launch Discovery, despite failing to achieve three safety improvements recommended by the task force that studied the reasons behind the Columbia disaster of Feb. 1, 2003. NASA administrator Michael Griffin is undeterred, stating that Discovery could launch as early as July 13th.

They are takign a big risk. If anything goes wrong it could be the end of space exploration as we know it for a while.
