You need more varnish and you need to wind the coils in a square pattern.

Raymond,

It is not possible to give a specific answer to such a vague question. Refer to a good book on generator winding where you should find most of the answer you need.

Ask again if you have more specific request.

Regards,

Marco

I have the specs and instructions and will attempt to upload them and provide a URL if you're interested.

Raymond pls. U have to be spesific if u actually need help, I suppose evey boby on this site are very busy people, if u are specific and narrow ur problem to a specific point, ur help will be emminent and very instantaneous answers will reach you from our enormous colegues and memders.

Do you mean how to rewound a 3-phase gemerator? If am right what is the expected speed of ur prime mover(wind or hydro), am asking because speed and frequency are very improtant factors in the design of generators winding. More so what type of excitation are u planning to use. Some generators have their exitation coils inbeded in slots with slip rings and brushes. some have separate exciter coil and flying diodes( brushless)

So lets hear from u.

Dickson. Abuja, Nigeria.

More so if u have ever rewound a 3-phase motor u wount be far from knowing what to do. Note the wire sizes that depend on your expected capacity.
