If your order says A 105, this designation indicates inch pound units; Specifying A105M on your order indicates SI (metric) units will be furnished for the order. see paragraph 1.4 and 1.5 in the standard, the link for purchase of which has already been given.
Best of my experience (Since 1978) there is no such thing as ASTM A 105N.

If the purchase order specifies Supplementary requirement S9, then the N suffix does in fact mean normalized.
Hadn't run into that before.
