It is clear that aerial skiers are tapping into free energy.
If you watch closely, you can see that they leave the jump with their arms straight up and without applying any uneven pressure to the snow to cause them to flip or turn: they are definitely not winding up to recoil at the last contact instant with the snow.
Then, in mid air, without anything to react against, they start to twist and flip. Sure, their relatively tiny arms flail around a bit, but their much more massive bodies move quickly. If you watch closely, it appears that a the tail is wagging the dog, but that the tail (arms) are too small and moving too subtly to make the dog wag so dramatically. Big long skis have far more mass and even greater moment of inertia than an arm or two.
I have skied, and I've gone off small jumps, and I even watched Herman Goelner do his first flips at Killington, four decades ago. (At that time, the idea of doing a single back flip off a small jump was pretty stunning.) I have observed aerials via TV... and after this exhaustive scientific investigation determined that it works by FM... magic.
Physics profs cite cat flip theory, but a cat's flailing movements are much more dramatic than the motions of aerialists... and I have not seen cats do three flips and four rotations combined, even though they have better strength-to-weight ratios than humans (as well as more flair for drama).
The only rational explanation is free energy, under thought control of the aerialists. Why have they been sworn to secrecy? The Swiss military uses skis -- is there a link? Is this why Switzerland does not get invaded by people wanting to steal their chocolate? Do the cognoscenti know that any invasion would be repelled with spinning skis?
