Cable Tray vs. Busbar System

hi and good evening/morning

I'm a building eng. student and I'm doing a research on electrical distribution in building concerning a comparison between cable tray system and busbar system, I'm looking for any researches in this topic or any helpful sites that have professional information about these systems.

Contact ABB they have published a Hand book which covers your area of interest further they give a software free to design these items.The hand book costs arround 60$.

I was looking for the software that you are talking about. I hope it would be ABB DOCWIN. I made numbers of e-mail to the ABB-representative in my region but I could not get any answer. Can you please suggest me about how to get such software?

yes its Docwin and Dear friend where are you located Normaly these big guns dont respond for e-mails you have to visit them yourself and unless you belong to a large estiblishment they dont even look at you. i am located in india and dont mind helping if you are in india.

What type of building? If it's a factory, don't worry about technical specs, a bus bar is the way to go as you can reposition equipment as necessary to meet manufacturing requirements. Or is that not what you need............
