This is so basic question for answer in this engineering forum. However, here it is:
For generating electricity, you need a generator. The generator has rotor and the power is applied to the rotor to rotate it at certain speed. Generator converts the applied rotating power to electrical power; it doesn't care about what causes its rotor rotating. You can use any mechanism to rotate it. The gas turbine is one of the mechanisms that convert gas fuel energy to mechanical rotating power which is then applied to generator rotor to produce electric power.

please follow steps given below
1) study the specifications of the turbine.
2) Confirm that the fuel gas for the turbine is available.
3) confirm that the speed governor is available and output speed can be controlled to 3000 rpm if supply needed is of 50 Hz and 3600 rpm if 60 Hz frequency is required.
4)Confirm the out put bhp of the turbine
4) Select the generator /alternator of equivalent or little lower capacity
5) use flexible coupling to connect them on a very sound and spirit leveled foundation platform
6) always test turbine independently before coupling.
7) connect the load to the output in phased manner
