Y we prefer D.C rather than A.C as Auxiallary voltage for relays

I think the subject should be 'Voltage for auxiliary relays' (not 'Auxiallary voltage for relays').

There are primarily two reasons:

(1) DC supply can be available from batteries, so when AC power is lost DC power is still available. For AC relay UPS is required in this case.

(2) DC auxiliary relay is faster than AC auxiliary relay

with the DC supply consatant torqu is possible. so that we use DC supply
