Can any one help me to get equivalent chart for materials? i.e., BIS,ASTM,EN

But you have also to be carefull which ever lists you use. You should always check the substitutes in detail (Chem, Mech, Corr. properties) for your purpose. Let also another Eng. check your assumptions. Create your own comparsion list (approved).

This list is always a good starting point to create your own "Permissible Subtitute List".

Yes, I also strongly recommend Key to Steel. If you dont find there... it's most probably not produced.
