Generator Voltage and Excitation

why the generator can not produce 11kv voltage after giveing sufficient excation. can u clear my doubt what happen in generator after get excation? because the 11kv is not produced in my set. It will up to 6kv only comes.

because :

- lack of magnetic flux Φ , remember : Ea = c.n.Φ

- on brush-less generator :

. is the excitation voltage optimal (excitation voltmeter = rated value?) if not,

may be 2 or more rectifier diodes break-down

if diode break down how voltages is build up.

but excation voltage is normal

Check rotating diodes, this will limit voltage output by reducing field voltage
