Auto Feed to Spring Cable

Second set of jaws and drive mechanism, in line with first but spaced some distance apart, plus leadscrew to move one of them at a time? Engage first set, turn cable while moving second set to rear-most position; engage second jaws, then disengage first set (cable can continue turning). Now move first set rearward and repeat cycle. Reverse sequence for pulling cable back out after cleaning. Using a dual leadscrew with one right-hand and one left-hand thread for the motion would permit pushing or pulling the cable during rotation (dual leadscrews are used in devices needing equal travel of paired objects, such as grippers or end effectors, and some precision machines already).
