Engine Simulation with Lotus Freeware

i want to do simulation on the IC engine to improve the performance of the engine for that i need mathematical model of the engine...and i read thousands of papers regarding this but i am confuse in some details so i need some help of the some masters in simulation...by the way i want to add one more thing the soft. for simulation is lotus engineering free to download at lotus.com.uk
