Ground Loop

take a look at this and tell me pls what does" ground loop" mean here? ground loop is a case not a real loop made by a conductor as seen here isnt it? so what does this mean in fact?

it is something like this? it is kinda loop isnt it? if not so why do we call it as" ground loop" ?

as you see here in a loop there is no chance of "ground loop" problem , so is this scheme what we apply to telecom rooms? please

Read This http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ground_loop_(electricity). The note "ground loop" conductors in this drawing is not what we normally refer to as the ground loops due to improperly installed conductors. This installation is just the grounding electrode conductors installed in a loop to decrease the impedance of the grounding system. This is a very common installation.

to make a IT grounding conductor a loop and connect the devices' grounding conductors to this loop impedes the" ground loops faults "?
