Siemens PS2 Valve Positioner Review

04/01/2010 10:59 AM

We're looking at retrofitting about 200 valves in our facility to use positioners, and our initial selection is the Siemens PS2. I hear good things about it (mostly from the rep), but I can't afford any surprises on this project. Does anyone have any feedback on the PS2, good or bad. Mostly, I need to know if there are any nuances or shortcomings to be aware of.

Thanks for your time!

I like using the neles (metso) 9000 positioners running with fieldcare software that helps with fast fault finding from all the hart data onboard
