I have read that somewhere in the UK a bar exists that somehow makes alcohol into a very fine mist and you just pay a cover charge to get in

Fresh air should have no contaminants. @this time this type of air only exists in air laboratory environments. No contaminants contribute to better air by my knowledge.

Contaminants are polluting elements that effect the air quality in a bad way, they can be vapors, dusts particles and gaseous elements.

google "Air pollution" to get some sources of contamination which ranges form gaseous(SOx, NOx...) , dust and air borne particulate matters etc
