What should be the depth of serration in Flange

As per specification.

In the case of ASME B16.5 you want 1.8 to 2.2 grooves per mm from a 1.5 mm radiused tool to achieve a roughness of 3.2 to 6.3 um.

It also depends on the type of gasket intended to be used.
