Safe Location of Fired Heater in a Oil Terminal

Please let me know what is the safe distance that need to be maintained from class I and Class II product storage tank to the hot oil system used to heat fuel oil tanks. I had refered to NFPA 30, 31 etc,. to find, still i am not sucessful. I need this data to decide the plot plan of the oil terminal.

I think it depends on whether the "Heater" if fired or steam heated.

If you have a Flame Fired Heater involved then it should be located up wind and a minimum of 60 meters away from any source of flammable vapors.

If no flame involved then it does not mater where you located it. However, I would locate the heater outside of the dike (spill retention area).
