dear all,

kindly advice / guide.

which is better, making the LV side with single layer or double layer of CU foil, keeping the cross section same.

Single layer is better.

Double layer can be used if single layer is too stiff to wind.

Use dead soft copper foil. Half hard or hard is too stiff.

Do winding in single layer as this will reduce eddy losses and extra heating of LV winding
