About Star delta connections

I want to know, how can i know about the connections those were made before and i am dealing with that, is this star connection or delta connection or star delta connection?

Hi everybody,,,

if the coils have one common point, then this is "STAR" connection like the symbol "Y",,,, if the coils are connected as a start to end, then it's "Delta" connection,exactly like a triangle.

I hope this makes sense !!!

how many leads are brought out? I presume you are refering to motor.

Not clear what you're asking.

Is it a motor? If so, is it already cabled up and you are asking whether it's cabled star or delta? If so, post a picture or sketch of the connections and we can help.

Or do you want to know how your motor should be connected? The nameplate should tell you that.
