	I do not know about 316 SST - there is 316 L (preferable for welding) and 316. My guess is that the first S is for Stainless and S or ST stands for Steel. It can also be a code word for 316 SS T- nut. or 316 SS T- shirt or more. __________________ Plenty of room here
