what is the best way to cal. DC motor speed

04/18/2010 11:16 PM

battery B = 200 volts, Rb = 0.1 ohm

Initial voltage of C = 100 volts.

Capacitor C = 100 farad, Rc = .01 ohm

Ra = 0.1 ohm,

La = .02 henry

speed constant of 0.2 volt / rpm

Frictional coefficient =0.002 nm/(rad/sec)

Inertia coefficient of the motor Jm = .01 nm/(rad/sec2)

Initially the switch A is" ON" and B was "off".

current Ia = 5 amps

This reeks like a homework question. Is this homework?

Also, you are missing a helpful circuit diagram.
