Car Door Seal Design?

04/20/2010 11:50 PM

What parameters are to be considered while designing the car door seal-apart from door weight and seal compression?

How does the seal behave if the seal gap provided on door frame is not consistent?

Door seals are normally tube shaped that allow for minor imperfections

The tube shape is moulded into a T shape with the top of the T being also rubber and mounted on the frame the I part of the T is the tube part
