I like the things that look like arrows. All arrows find their way back to ground eventually.

That's pretty funny, gary! I like it!

Sort of goes with "how does a steam turbine generator work?"

Like this!

Doorman,

You've hit on an idea that's been in the back of my mind for some time now, and I just couldn't work out that last detail.

How about this:

In place of the fire, move the light bulb under the boiler. Use a really hot light bulb to heat the water. Then the only raw material you'd need to replenish would be the boiler stock.

Think about it! Free electricity heat and light for everyone!

I can see it now: LynDoor® Industries (We'll share the wealth 50/50)proudly presents the perpetual∞ light and heat generator. Our first model, The Infinity, will target the Artic where it's cold and dark all the time.

I'm gonna buy a big boat and travel.

Here comes the pitch... he swings... [Crack]... It's going, going... GONE!

Home run! FREE ENERGY! Finally, a solid, no holes-in-it idea for free energy! Nicely done!

Say, could we make the boat a 'Chick Magnet'?

Gary - hahahaha ... It's funny cuz it's true.

This is an example of an open control-loop in that there's no feedback to 'close' the control loop. The idea is in the diagram, though ... show all instruments (switches, sensors, etc.), electric circuits, electronic interfaces, and their interconnections. Also show logic schematics if there's any logic programmed in a device or an electronic control system (DCS, PLC).

The ISA (used to be the Instrument Society of America, now Instrumentation Systems and Automation or something) publishes standards for loop diagrams and other instrumentation-and-control related topics. See:

www.isa.org

Cheers! DZ
