Why do we use aluminium cable tray for power cables in substation?

I think you can use GI Cable Trays, MS Cable Trays, Stainless Steel Cable Trays, FRP Cable Trays no problem in that also....Its generally client requirment....

Ddoesn't rust, lightweight and doesn't conduct induced harmonics generated by high power cables

Amendment to this previous issue do avoid eddy current loss i.e avoid magnetic path
