You need to contact a fire safety equipment company and talk to them, Boss.

one of the way to detect leakages/presence of gases would be an LEL detector. As far as fire fighting is considered, there are deluge systems for that which are fitted with heat bulbs.

Others would include uv detectors for fire detection and Oxygen detector, in case there is low oxygen in an enclosed shed.

To start with, first know your budget plan, how much your company is willing to spend on the dedicated F&G systems. Usually these comes of 2 types, so called the stand alone system (with limited number of I/O) and the other PLC based type. The selection of the system & devices again depends on the location of use again, like wthr you want F&G detection in a closed area or open area and wthr the area is hazardous or non-hazardous.

In todays market we have devices like flamamble gas detectors, toxic gas detectors, UVIR's, linear Heat detectors, rate of rise heat detectors, smoke detectors etc.

Systems like Fire Alarm control panels (for ex by TYCO), or any PLC based systems.

You should know wthr you want only F&G detection or you want fire supression system also, Supression systems like Foam spray, water deluge, etc .. these all require a lot of study to employ which system where? studies like hazop, sil assessments, SIS etc .. then only it can be decided to go for the quantity and type of system / devices used...
