How to find out the solar factor that can be used for heat load estimation from the proposed glazing tech specs(U Value, SC & SHGC)?

Manual J is the perfect answer for residential load calculations. Incidently, that one is published by Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA). Lou Bindner

Try the 2009 edition of the ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers), the industry bible and available at your public library.
