What are you saying? Are you saying that you don't know anything at all about the topic?

Please be specific about what you want to know.

It is useless to ask, I want to know everything about subject XYZ and then expect someone or ones to dump the full spectrum of knowledge in the universe on that topic, which very well might fill an encyclopedia.

For that matter, if it were in my power and I had the time, I would dump an encyclopedia of knowledge, burying you with information, just to teach you a good lesson.

It sounds like you don't even know what questions to ask yet, so my best advice would be to take some more time and do your own research on the subject (use the library and the internet) to at least try to understand the basics of the subject.

While you are doing that, keep a notebook and write any and all questions you have down in that notebook. Many of the questions will get answered as you continue to research... but, those that you can't answer bring here and you will find people a lot more receptive to your plea and the answers you get will make more sense, too.

I have somewhere the feeling this is a student project. Any way which ever is the reason you are interested you have to go through following steps:

- research (google or others or library) to know how it works and decide how you will try to design it, define parameters and relative influences.

- see if you have to use a computer simulation or if it is, for your project, enough to use the equations you will find in the literature

- make 1st attempt to design

- make, as was suggested a list of questions, which you want to ask because during your 1st attempt some aspects did not fit together.

- ask your questions without using CAPITALS.

Designing of a LVDT is a Project?...If you are doing a home work for school project work, this is not the way to get information. Some body can provide you enough inputs. But you will never learn anything in that way. Try to collect data and ask then .
