Quantity Surveyor

Hi cr4 engineers..since i have no idea about this task i didnt attempt to make my opinion or else i may be wrong so allow me to the opinion of an expert to this field " brief scope of a quantity surveyor and its function. Or any website that i can explore it may help" to the coleague interested on this field. Thanks
