DNS Server & Default Gateway

it there any possibilities to find out the DNS server and default gateway of the other computer connected in LAN?

my office mate was connected to internet using proxy server which provided by others and change only the default gateways and dns server,,,

my problem now is i want to scan there network properties like IP, Mac Address, mask, default gateways and dns server,, but unfortunately i just found freeware which scan only the IP and Mac address... please help me to find out if there is any solution to scan for default gateways and dns server of there computer... pls...

I'm not quite following all this but you might try a Google for "Ethereel" (old name) and "Wireshark" (new name). I don't know what your limited freeware is but Wireshark is free and very powerful.

Yes, indeed. 'why?' springs to mind, though it would be unfair to impugn somebody's intent. Just hopping in and out because 'Ethereel' caught my eye .
