Electrical Safety Audit

You can refer IE Rules 1956 for some statutary requirement required in Electrical Installation. Also you can refere TAC(Tariff Advisory Committee) requirements guideline which mainly required to maintain for Insurance premium purpose. The former one is the rules which one must follow. The later one is also considered for electrical installation. These documents are proprietory and in available for purchase. No free or downloadable is allowed, what I understand.

i do not know how you can perform a Safety Auditing on Electrical Systems without having any knowledge on required Standards. Any how, You can refer respective IS Code for knowledge on standards for different electrical systems, equipment & practices. I tried lot but could not get copies of any IS Codes on internet.
