It probably depends on your area of expertise. And your age.

Some that I like are the Machinery's handbook, Roark, Shigley, Marks.

I do have some favorite websites but that wasn't your question.

Vampiro,

You may wish to lay hands on ITU-T and ITU-R recommendations (see http://www.itu.int/publications/default.aspx for help)

These, in addition to getting you attuned to ITU recommendations will aid you in choosing books covering the wide range of topics in Telecommunication.

Cheers,

ethobil

The one that helps him more in fields his not so strong.

Ask a priest if there is a psalm that he considers a good engineering guide. (sorry, I couldn't resist). But Hey! you're a Vamp, what you want a bible for?

Ok let me remove the joke at the end and leave only the first part, but changed to mean exactly the opposite:

One book on what he is already an expert, and thus don't need it at all.

Do you like it any better?

I appreciate your feedback, so I can respond what you want to hear .

The problem with the request, even though we now know what your asking for, Is the precise books you need to read in order to gain knowledge that will further your needs, For example if its just for a hobby, or is it to prepare yourself for exams etc.

If its for exams then you need to study books that cover the sort of questions your likely to be asked in an exam, It can be counter productive if your study takes your knowledge base beyond that of the likely questions.

For instance a typical question in basic electronics may ask which way do electrons flow in a circuit A the normal thinking is posative to negative.

But if you read more advanced books you will learn it actualy flows negative to posative,

Now if you answer the question with the last part you will fail although your knowledge is correct, you answered with the wrong answer, if that makes sense.

I guessed right it's you. You'd gone emoticon this time. Will this be permanent this time?

Well, just to note that I'm aware of your recent changes in avatar.

For me and my time... Electronic Principals by Malvino... I think it might have been the 3rd edition...

Apparently he has some online stuff:

http://www.malvino.com/

This was 'the early years' for me:) Then it became actual IC data books :) lol Then it became uP & uC data books! LOL!! Then so on and so forth...
