Calculating the Micro Henry

please help me to calculate the micro Henry of my induction coil.my coil diameter is 12" and length is 4.5"

We'll need to know the number of turnscore material etc.
An inductance meter is relatively cheap these days.
I just checked, there are several new for about £5 on E-bay.
(Ok I don't s'pose you are in the UK...)

For an air-cored coil, you can use Wheeler's formula :

L(mH)=0.8*a^2*n^2/(6a+9b+10c)

where:

L = inductance in mH
a = avg radius of coil,mm
b = length of coil,mm
c = diff between inner and outer radii,mm
n = number of turns
