Do you, my friend, mean by any chance.....half the knee-point voltage of a protection-class current transformer? If so, give me a teddy bear. If not go to the earlier comment and search.

Heh heh..

by the way, did you rate my comment "off-topic" by any chance ? i am hurt. i didn't know that there was a topic at all .... so how can it be off-topic ?

In fact, my initials being KV, if i stand on my head (Indians are rather good at it you know) and someone helps cut me in two parts, i will be 2 X Vk/2 too eh?

Not me. I tend to add comments to my votes. I did though give Peter a GA. I forgot to post that.

Agreed. It also dawned on me that at times people will stumble across an unfamiliar acronym that makes no sense to them and that doesn't fit one of the search engine results. In this case posting a "What dat mean?" question here makes sense. Particularly with the love of acronyms engineers have due to the complicated topics we constantly deal with. But I do wish that they'd give us some added clues like where it's from or how is it used in a document. Without some added clues this could just be a personal property mark Victor Krakowsi Jr. metal stamped into his favorite tool.

Just passing by and thought I'd give you a hand with the OT vote. Your answer seems on topic to me.

A study in human nature. i made a feeble joke and also gave a proper answer to the original post. Both got GAs, thank you. However, someone didn't see the any humour in the joke and voted against it . Nothing wrong, CR4 rules allow it. Just that what was the point in voting negative ? The joke, while feeble, was in no way offensive....

To paraphrase what someone said in another thread, 'if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything'
