..nanotechlogy is another, create flow paths small enough for electrons to pass only, elctrons are forced to move in a given direction due EMF. pretty much in labs for now.

could u tell the reason for why and how they (nano particles)provide path to electron flow.could u tell some application of this.

Thermocouples are based upon this principal, as well as the car refrigerators/heaters, and motherboard chip coolers.
