Please excuse any rudeness my answer might imply but you must have some understanding of current and voltage to even discuss the entire rest of your questions. Without that basis any accurate answer would be meaningless to you. Voltage and current are critical concepts in electric circuit theory. Now those two links are accurate but possibly to fine of a detail to grasp for a novice. If they baffle you, you should try a search engine to define these two terms. But until somebody knows what you understand of these two terms, one cannot proceed onto anything else in electricity.

redfred, it is worse that you think, I am afraid.

His other post here indicates this is finals week, and he should have studied harder!

At least it does not appear this poster is looking to turn himself into a pair of smoking tennis shoes!

You maybe reading too much into that because he/she mentions nothing about school. But if it is finals week, don't worry they'll get what they earned. At least I hope that they do.

It looks like you need to Google "Electronics Tutorial", "Electrical Circuits Tutorial" and similar. CR4 is a good place to get help with specific questions and problems (hopefully not homework). CR4 is not a good place to ask someone when you have not read the introduction tutorial.

dineshpathak,

We assume that when you come here to ask a question that you have some tiny bit of knowledge about the subject that brought about the question.

Your total apparent lack of knowledge regarding the subject of electricity leads me to agree with the others. You should do some BASIC reading. Then, when you have real questions we'll help you. As long as it's not homework.

Ok, let's hope one or more of these really top teachers will give you that elusive good answer you are still looking for, which i was unable to come up with. i also look forward to the final answer to your thread, which will tell me what the question really was.

Meanwhile please download and read the Cahiers Technique papers. Thank you.

Dineshpathak,

For your questions on What & Why, I have to ask you What are you? and Why are you on CR4? Why don't you just take a DRIVE and scoot.

Please - this is no place for basic schooling. I mean, Current, Voltage, Resistance etc. etc., are all taught in Secondary schooling. Are you that young or have you missed all the basics by choice?

God save you and us too.

That I could guess. But since you know him, already, why not just educate him.

Read the text books now if one asks what is Voltage and what is Current, it is a bit, over the top.

The replies have been too moderated. I know some forums, where he will not be able to go through the replies.

Re: ELECTRICALS

Dear dineshpathak: let me try & help. Q-1.. CURRENT-now, VOLTAGE- from volt-age, meaning the age of a volt(how young or old a volt is), RESISTANCE-The act of resisting; opposition, passive or active. eg, Osama Bin Laden vs Bush & the U.S., but in this case it must be Ohm bin Laben (his nephew) vs Obama & the CURRENT U.S administration, CAPACITANCE- pronounced 'kəˈpæsɪtəns' a word that means something and sounds cool, used capably by a person indicates the capacity of said person becoming an engineer. INDUCTANCE- unit, the Henry, probably a military unit of good old king Henry himself. Q-2.. DRIVES are easier than WALKS & are used here on earth instead of on star Delta of the Orion constellation, DOL (Mathematics & Measurements / Units) a unit of pain intensity, as measured by dolorimetry, was probably more commonly used in the days when most men walked WALKS instead of driving DRIVES. The Auto-tranformers are not popular as who use DRIVES, don't like having them messed with. despite these explanations these also works more over same!.............. and finally, there are very many differences between three and DRIVE, the most obvious ones being: that they are spellt differently.& that three means something different to DRIVE, there are also some similarities in these words such as the fact that they have the same amount of letters in them and that they can both be written in many languages.!!!(my fingers are bleeding now whilst my eyes moist over) dear dineshpathak, all the chaps @ CR4 are open & genuine kindhearted souls who wish to share their knowledge & experience with those who seek knowledge once they have @ least done a little bit of their own research & could'nt find the answers. A tip to get you started on the right track: seeing that you can type means that you can read, so start by looking up all the answers to Q1 in the oxford pocket dictionary. kindest regards,
