Regarding UDT455 HS

There are many ways to do this. I myself had done a very simple one involving heating an unknown salt and observing what color it tints the flame in order to identify its base metal. What exactly are you asking for? Please be more specific, or sooner or later someone will ridicule you here.

I had to identify an unknown salt that was causing scaling in a reverse osmosis water pipe. I heated samples of the salt in a bunsen flame against a white background in a darkened room so that I could see clearly what color the flame was tinted. It was a reddish hue similar to that imparted by calcium, so it confirmed my suspicion that the water was contaminated by calcium.

I have no idea how much a UDT455 chip costs. However there are some suppliers listed in that link I provided you. You can enquire from them.
