Anonymous Poster	Is It Possible To Use The WPS Of A120B Instead Of A216 WCB? 07/06/2010 1:23 AM
	Would it be possible to use the WPS of A120B INSTED OF A216 WCB? The A216 is used for check valves in oil industry whereas A120 B I checked the chemical composition of these to metals and I did not see any outstanding differences. The first one is cold draw and the second is castin iron.

	I believe A120 material has been discontinued and replaced with A53. However, as the P-number is same for both the materials (A120 and A216 WCB), and the filler material requirement is also the same, you can use the same WPS. Regards, Ashfaq Anwer http://thepetrostreet.com
