Conveyor Idler Roll

07/08/2010 2:43 AM

Hi All,

I am excited to announce that the innovative conveyor idler roll head design is ready.
This is an invitation to come and see the 'OneFits' Conveyor Idler Roll launch at QME 2010 in Mackay from 27th to 29th July.

This innovative 'OneFits Roll' is "The Occupational Health & Safety, Lean, Green Energy Efficient machine" 'OneFits' for conveyor rolls in the conveyor Materials Handling Systems industry. If you are in Mackay, Queensland, Australia during the Exposition we hope you will honour us with a visit to our stand.

The Stand 5042 under the Tamec Services Pty Ltd Banner and we would be pleased to demonstrate the roll at the expo and for you to see innovation technology in action for the belt conveyor system the Materials Handling Industry.

The 'DunnEasy Idler' will also be on show with the Stainless Steel Shell 'OneFits Roll'.

The Website is http://www.tamecservices.com.au

I have worked on this project for more than 24 years now and I believe I have achieved the best outcome to date. The roll will be supplied, when in production, with a Shell Tubing made of proprietary Stainless Steel that inhibits corrosion pitting 'Oysters' but will have a certain necessary corrosion value required to eliminate 'Aquaplaning' to create a controlling force between the roll and belting covers. I have put most of the important information on the web site http://www.tamecservices.com.au/video_files/video.htm so that it is available to all.
Click on the links at the bottom and it will take directly to the video. Please take the time to view the other pages as I have put a lot of data there for reference.
The idler roll shell has proprietary Stainless Steel which is being manufactured especially for us as no one makes the stainless steel in the Idler Range anywhere in the world. I hope the tubing gets to me ready for the show QME.
The reason for my requirements is that S/S 304/309/316/318 grades, Aluminium and Poly Plastics/Composites materials are too smooth and do not control the belting especially when there is high humidity as they 'Aqua-Plane' on the surface of the roll. I required a S/S that does not pit but does 'Tea Stain' corrode accross the whole roll surface at much reduced rates to provide minute corrosion surface which impregnates the cover of the belt to act similar to emery paper and give good directional control (Tracking) of the belting.
