Spell Check

07/11/2010 9:58 AM

Please add an option on the edit member profile page

to disable the CR4 spell checker

which requires far too many mouse clicks

both of the supported browsers support right click spell checking

but the CR4 editor gets in the way & adds once again too many mouse clicks to the process

Man, this guy must have broken his fingers. It does not require the use of the browser's spell check. All one needs to do is click on the "ABC" with the check mark under it. after correcting the misspelling, click the button again and it's done. The mouse is such a useful tool and the "click" is so easy to do. Don't change a thing, I MUST use spell-check or my finger dyslexia would make my text unreadable.

Charlie, You missed the point. I'd rather use the spell check on my browser, with a right click. The CR4 spell checker adds too many clicks & doesn't allow me to add words to the dictionary. I didn't ask for it to be removed, Just allow for those of us that prefer other options, which we may find superior... How's that project working out?

The option already exists. Just don't right click on the Spell Check icon and no further action is required on your part.

Or, am I missing something?

Hah...Good One!

Yes

its like

Michel Caine

the actor who

only speaks

a few words

at a time.

I do see what the OP means. The box containing the words to be corrected often covers the text that contains them
