Please tell me about the advanced effluent evaporation technologies. and also about that how to determine the rate of evaporation in the solar evaporation ponds.

Thin film based multiple effect evaporators are very familiar in effluent treatment plants.

If you want to evaporate the R.O reject or high saline effluent, where the quantity is limited to few kilo liters[ less than 5000 litres per day], solar may be of use.

If you need accelerated evaporation results, think of the following.

* Larger surface area

* high salinity

* Good air passage including artificial means.

*possible sprays

* large area solar plates[ u shaped with insulation[ do it your self] around your solar plant and so on. Such set ups need protected transparent walling around your plant for avoiding solar heat losses.

*Thin film formation by capillary rise should also help better.
